Cuberg is a battery startup developing a next-generation battery technology with drastically improved safety and energy density. The company spun out of Stanford in 2015, closed a seed investment round in 2016 with an industrial battery partner, has already proven its technology in commercial-format prototypes, and closed an additional financing round in January 2018 led by Boeing HorizonX Ventures. Cuberg has attracted significant early traction with the biggest global players in the oil & gas, defense, aerospace, and medical device industries. Ultimately, Cuberg's technology will power the electronics and transportation systems of the future.
Cuberg is based at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California and is part of the second cohort of the prestigious Cyclotron Road entrepreneurial fellowship program. We have a close-knit team, an informal and collaborative working style, impactful technology, and exciting commercial progress. Join us as we take Cuberg to the next level!
